Making worm farms

Lesley from Mastaguard Education came to show us how to make a homemade wormfarm using ice-cream containers.

The bottom container collects the worm wee.  This needs to be diluted 1-20 before using it on your garden.

The top container needs several holes in it, then line it with wet newspaper.
Place scrunched up newspaper onto the wet paper for worms to snuggle in to breed.
Find Tiger worms
Vermicast (worm poo) covers the paper - and the rotted down food.
Do not put cooked food or citrus but other food scraps are fine. Feed farm regularly.
