M8 is a fantastic Year 3/4 class in the Rua team at Rangiora Borough School. Mrs Leanne Adamson is privileged to be the teacher of this great group of young people. Our class motto is "In M8 it doesn't matter if we get it wrong, as long as we try!"

Library Reading
The children really enjoy our library hour every Tuesday. It's great to see everyone on task and reading for fun!
Painting our Piggy Banks
All children wore paint shirts but unfortunately there will be some unhappy parents trying to wash paint from school clothes. How the children managed to make such a mess I do not know. Please accept my apologies - the paint is water based so a squirt of dishwasher detergent then it should wash out in the machine.
Comic life
M8 are researching an animal and presenting facts on Comic Life. I like the way everyone is working in a group using the Eekk rule (elbow to elbow, knee to knee).

Golf Skills
Move aside Tiger Woods. M8 are learning golf skills with Matt and Amy from North Canty Sports. We love the new equipment!
Lemonade Scones
M8 have been learning about measurement this term and also about how to write a procedure. Today we made lemonade scones as a fun way to learn.
Enjoy
your scones while they are still warm.
They are really yummy with jam and cream!
