M8 is a fantastic Year 3/4 class in the Rua team at Rangiora Borough School. Mrs Leanne Adamson is privileged to be the teacher of this great group of young people. Our class motto is "In M8 it doesn't matter if we get it wrong, as long as we try!"

Golf Skills
Move aside Tiger Woods. M8 are learning golf skills with Matt and Amy from North Canty Sports. We love the new equipment!
Lemonade Scones
M8 have been learning about measurement this term and also about how to write a procedure. Today we made lemonade scones as a fun way to learn.
Enjoy
your scones while they are still warm.
They are really yummy with jam and cream!

Making worm farms
The bottom container collects the worm wee. This needs to be diluted 1-20 before using it on your garden.
The top container needs several holes in it, then line it with wet newspaper.
Place scrunched up newspaper onto the wet paper for worms to snuggle in to breed.
Find Tiger worms
Vermicast (worm poo) covers the paper - and the rotted down food.
Do not put cooked food or citrus but other food scraps are fine. Feed farm regularly.
